Oceana Heartsong (yes, it’s her birth name!) is a vibrant emerging artist from the tropical island of Kauai, determined to become the first global female pop star from Hawai’i. Growing up traveling the world, Oceana blends influences from unexpected places, creating a sound uniquely hers.At 17, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting but shifted paths after a life-changing leg injury left her bedridden for months. While recovering, she taught herself guitar and wrote her first songs, quickly becoming obsessed with music.She began performing live in 2019, gaining early traction with her rich, evocative voice and a sound that blends indie pop with electronic influences. In 2020 she took a step back from performing but continued to release music, including tracks in 2021 & 2022 that showcased her growth as an artist.In the years following, Oceana explored new directions as part of the duo DUMMIES. Now, with her solo single ‘The Weather,’ she’s back, ready to share her evolved sound and take the stage once again.With her velvety vocals, punchy lyrics, and clever concepts, Oceana is a singer-songwriter with a keen ear for emotional melodies, catchy hooks and genre-blending productions. Her style combines Lana Del Rey’s cinematic production with Charli XCX’s bold energy and Billie Eilish’s vulnerability.
